About Philip Delves Broughton

Delves Broughton is a Journalist at heart and loves to write. Born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and educated in England, Philip attended New College, Oxford, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Classics. Between 1994 and 2002 he worked as a reporter for The Daily Telegraph, episodic by a brief stint at The Times of London. From 1998 to 2002, Phil Delves Broughton was the Telegraph’s New York correspondent. Philip did variety of assignments including covering the Sean "P.Diddy" Combs gun possession trial in New York to traveling through Latin America. He also oversaw the paper’s coverage of the 9/11 attacks on New York. In 2002, soon after getting married, Philip Delves Broughton was appointed the Telegraph’s Paris bureau chief.

In 2004, Philip left journalism to attend Harvard Business School. After graduating, he returned to New York and have since worked on business development projects for various media and financial firms and written Ahead of the Curve. Philip Delves Broughton hopes to continue writing and pursuing business ventures in equal measure. Philips is married to Margret and they have two sons.
